Scintillation Probes

Where GM Probes are a great solution for answering yes, no, and how much, scintillation probes can tell you what's present. Scintillation crystals are grown to specification. Their interaction with ionizing radiation produces light, that can be then interpreted into an energy spectrum using the energy distribution of the particular isotopes. Each isotope emits a specific set of energies which the scintillation detector utilizes to identify, as well as quantify.
