Frequently Asked Questions about MC1K
Does the MC1K have an energy compansated GM tube?
Yes. The detector on the MC1K is an EC tube, which gives you a more linear response to the energies over the full range.
Does the MC1K have internal memory?
No. The MC1K is an analog detector with no internal memory. However, you can use the Observer Serial Software to log your data directly to a computer.
