The Radiation Alert® Area Monitor is one of the most user friendly, all inclusive, state of the art radiation area monitors available. The easy to use interface is an intelligent resistive touch screen display featuring a large five digit LED readout.
It comes with either an internal or external detector and free software for monitoring every Radiation Alert® Area Monitor on your network. Includes user selectable warning indicators for low and high radiation alarm levels, low battery, and detector failure. Setup email and text alerts to recieve alarms while on the go. All the settings are stored internally, even when power is disconnected. All units come with a Certificate of Conformance. NIST Source calibrations available upon request. Yes. As an alternative to internal detectors, our external GM options are available up to 100ft and our external scintillation options are available up to 50ft.
Are there external alarm options available?
Yes. In addition to the included network monitoring software, users can also connect the external horn and alarm option.
What would I need to use this as a portal monitor?
It is recommended that you use one of the external scintillation probes with the ruggedized housing to protect the probe from potential damage as people and object pass through the portal.
