Pen Dosimeter Charger

Handheld Dosimeter Charger | Battery‑Free Charger for Direct‑Reading Dosimeters

The patented handheld Dosimeter Charger is a reliable, battery‑free solution for charging and zeroing direct‑reading radiation dosimeters, including pen‑style dosimeters. Designed for field efficiency and ease of use, it operates by manually squeezing a built‑in generator lever, eliminating the need for batteries or external power sources.

Simple, Rugged, Field‑Ready Operation

The dosimeter charger features a secure clamping cradle that holds the dosimeter firmly in place. A trigger‑style mechanism allows users to quickly insert or remove the dosimeter, enabling fast operation during routine checks or field deployments.

A dedicated discharge button, located above the clamp, allows excess charge to be safely discharged beyond zero on the dosimeter scale. With only a light source and a few seconds, users can quickly zero their radiation dosimeters and return them to service.

Compatible with Direct‑Reading Radiation Dosimeters

This handheld charger is designed to work with a wide range of direct‑reading dosimeters, making it suitable for facilities, training environments, emergency response kits, and military applications where dependable radiation monitoring is required.

What Our Clients Say

Ron Ulbrich, Geiger Counter Pro

“The Radiation Alert Ranger® is a great value for those looking for a modern Geiger counter. I found that is simple to use yet includes many advanced functions if and when you want them without obstructing the simplicity…”

Judson Kenoyer, CHP, CIH

“I have used the Monitor 4 in courses that I teach radiation safety for close to 8 years. The students love it and affectionately call it the “Batman unit” because of its use in the movie The Dark Knight Rises. It is light-weight, sensitive, and quite often out performs some of the more expensive units from other companies that we use in a lab exercise…”

Neil Breslow, NDT Supply

“NDT Supply has been working with SE International since we started business in 2000. We have found them to be easy to work with, and a very reliable and responsive supplier. Questions and issues are always handled promptly and with a smile…”
