The MC1K is an ergonomic handheld radiation survey meter equipped with a built‑in energy‑compensated Geiger‑Mueller (GM) detector for accurate measurement of gamma and X‑ray radiation. Designed for professional radiation monitoring applications, it provides reliable dose‑rate detection across a broad operating range.

Energy‑Compensated Detection with Linear Response

The MC1K detects gamma and X‑ray radiation up to 1000 mR/hr across four selectable measurement ranges. Its energy‑compensated GM detector delivers a more linear response to gamma and X‑ray radiation across the full range, improving measurement accuracy and consistency compared to non‑compensated detectors.

Clear Audible & Visual Feedback

For immediate situational awareness, the MC1K features an audible beeper that sounds with each detected event and a flashing count indicator light that provides clear visual confirmation of radiation activity during surveys.

Ergonomic, Field‑Ready Design
