Accurate Energy‑Compensated Measurements

For enhanced situational awareness, the Monitor 1000EC features a red count indicator light and an audible beeper that sounds with each detected event. An adjustable counting timer and selectable alarm thresholds allow the instrument to be tailored to specific operational or safety requirements.

Data Logging with Free Observer USB Software

Included with the Monitor 1000EC is Free Observer USB Software (Windows® compatible), enabling comprehensive data management and reporting. The software supports readings in Total Counts, CPM, CPS, µR/hr, mR/hr, and µSv/hr, and allows users to:

  • Collect and log radiation data
  • Configure alarm setpoints
  • Perform timed counts
  • Set calibration dates and detector settings
  • Generate professional reports

Optional Bluetooth® Connectivity

Anti-Saturation

Readout will OVERRANGE in radiation fields as high as 100 times the maximum reading.

Selectable Alert Set Range

mR/hr .001 – 1000 and CPM 1 – 450,000. Pulsating beeper sounds the alert. Adjustable alert levels are used for mR/hr / CPM, and µSv/hr / CPS. 70db @ 1m. Alarm will sound when in Timer Mode when set alarm threshold is reached.
