Precision Calibration Services
Our radiation detector calibration service offers industry leading support, and speedy turnaround times.
All new instruments are electronically calibrated at the time of manufacture and come with a certificate of conformance traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The accuracy is typically ± 15% of reading relative to Cs137.
This Electronic Calibration complies with ANSI-Z-540.
We recommend that your Radiation Alert® detector be calibrated annually from the date it was placed in service.
If you need NIST calibration on your new Radiation Alert® detector, please be sure to mention it when ordering.
How to Send your Radiation Alert® Meter for Annual Calibration
Download the Calibration Request Form
Fill out the form completely and include it with the instrument. Be sure to include contact, shipping and payment information.
Please remove the batteries prior to shipping. New batteries will be installed with every calibration.

Repairs
If your instrument is in need of repair, please contact us for an RMA. We will need the serial number and a brief description of the problem prior to issuing the RMA. Please call us at (931) 964-3561 or email us at radiationinfo@seintl.com.
Instrument Registration
Customers can register their new instruments by filling out the Registration Form Here. This form is for registration only and not to be used for sending your instrument in for calibration. If you need to send your instrument for calibration, please complete the calibration request form under “How to Send your Radiation Alert® Meter for Annual Calibration” and include a copy with your package.
Our calibration reminder service is temporarily down for program updates. We suggest that you mark the date when the instrument is placed in service and set a reminder that instrument needs to be calibrated on a date you specify. We hope to have this issue solved as soon as possible.
