All of our Radiation Alert® products leave our plant with the highest level of tolerance. Our units ship with a typical tolerance of ±15% from the production floor and come with a Certificate of Conformance. Upon request, a ±10% with an NIST Calibration can be performed from our calibration lab and will include a Certificate of Calibration. Calibration of our detectors is required to meet a number of regulations across various industries. Many of our users are not under regulations and are confident in the high quality reputation of our company and the quality control in our manufacturing. However, depending on your application, we still recommend periodic calibration of your instrument to the NIST Military Standards.
